Ms. Miryam Winters, a teacher at Colaiste an Átha, was chosen to an attend an event – “22nd Science Projects Workshop in the Future Classroom Lab”. This event was organised by Amgen Teach in collaboration with Next-Lab in Brussels in June 2018. Comprised of 28 primary and secondary school teachers from 17 countries in Europe (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey) this workshop was focused on inquiry based science education. Ms Winters was the only Irish teacher that attended and she would like to share what transpired at the inspiring and informative event.
