CHEERIOS® Childline Breakfast Together Week asks individuals, families, friends, crèches, schools and companies to hold a breakfast and raise vital funds for Childline. 

This year Coláiste an Átha held a breakfast morning on October 5th  2011 in aid of Childline and was  followed by a cake sale at 11.20 am.  All students were encouraged to take part and make a small donation of €2 towards Childline for receiving their breakfast of cheerios and juice.

The cake sale was a fantastic success but only as a result of the hard work carried out by LCA 1 students who ran the event and those students and parents who kindly donated cakes and buns. 

All in all it was a fantastic turn out with €501.37 being raised for Childline. Last year thousands of calls went unanswered due to lack of funding, hopefully Coláiste an Átha’s contribution will make a difference this year.  Well done to all!
