Coláiste an Átha choir is a 25 member choir with students from 1st to 6th year. The choir is led by Ms Kennedy the music teacher. They performed Christmas songs at the TY Christmas market earlier this month and were asked to sing at the Kilmuckridge Christmas lighting . The choir is full of amazing singers with so much talent. In the choir there are a lot of harmony’s which makes the song more difficult to learn but makes the songs sound unbelievable . Ms Kennedy has chosen the best songs for the choir to sing. They practice once a week on Thursdays at lunch time. They have been busy practicing for the Christmas concert coming up soon. They will be singing four songs. In the Christmas concert there will be the choir, the first year choir, second year choir, third year choir and sixth year band all directed by Ms Kennedy. Ms Kennedy has been working so hard to get all the acts ready and sounding their best. The choir is always happy to have more people joining and is getting better with each rehearsal.
