On Thursday 15th January, the six Meithéal leaders were acknowledged at the awards ceremony in the CBS Enniscorthy. Two Meithéal leaders presented the awards, one from Coláiste Bride and the other from CBS.

There was an abundance of entertainment on display. First year students James Byrne and Linda Murphy presented the Coláiste an Átha students with their awards. Tina Kelly the Co. Wexford Meitheal coordinator spoke to the leaders on the day about the success of the programme in the county. Our principal Ms Martin and Ms Deacon, Meithéal Coordinator in Coláiste an Átha attended the ceremony. Ms Deacon has worked trielessly to promote the programme in our school so I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for all her hard work. Overall it was an extremely enjoyable event.
