Over the past few weeks in LCA we have been on work experience. We started our work experience on the 23^rd of February and finished on the 6^th of March. Over the 2 weeks I went to a community Playschool in Arklow. The reason I went there was because I enjoy childcare and it was recommended by a family member.  I enquired about it and thankfully got the work experience placement.  While in Arklow I was staying with a family member.

While I was working I was doing a lot of things like playing with the children and helping them make their lunches.  In the playschool the children would get their lunch in the Playschool because it is a community Playschool for families with financial difficulties which is great for such a big town.  After doing the work experience in a Playschool I have really thought about doing a course in Childcare after I finish school.  I will have to do a PLC course before I go to college.  In the course I will do a Level 5 and a Level 6 course in Early Childhood care & Education. I learnt that childcare is something I really want and should do because in 3 periods of work experience I went to Playschools and in them 3 times I have got outstanding reports.
