Kilmuckridge got off to a great start scoring 6 points in the first 10 minutes. Creagh pulled it back though playing into a strong breeze. Darryl gray made a great run just before half time striking the ball into the back of the net leaving Kilmuckridge up by 3 points at half time.

With Kilmuckridge playing into the breeze in the second half they still managed to get off to a good start once again with John O’Toole scoring a goal. Creagh stuck over a few easy frees from a few unnecessary tackles. There was a great battle in midfield between Jake Nobbs and Adam Byrne but the two boys came out the better by winning every ball over the two men from Creagh.

Darryl gray once again set up Adam Byrne for a wonder strike that rattled the back of the net. Jake cox played an  excellent role by winning most puck outs. Kilmuckridge kept battling and kept sticking over points to finish off the game the final score was 4-10 to 3-16 favouring Kilmuckridge. Darryl gray scored an excellent 1-11 John O’Toole scored 1-2, Shane Cahill scored 1 point and Jake Nobbs scored 2 points.

Kilmuckridge are now playing Enniscorthy VC in the county final, it’s been awhile since the senior team have been in a county final but now they have a very strong squad and a very good chance most of the players have come up from Junior winning the Leinster final for two years in a row.
