Well done to boys U15 soccer team who qualified for the semi-final of the Wexford/Wicklow region after an emphatic victory over Adamstown this morning. Harry Ellix opened the scoring with a fine header after 5 minutes. Captain Craig O’ Reilly doubled the lead soon after. Craig quickly completed his hat-trick and Jake Nobbs added 2 to give the lads a 6-0 lead at half time. Despite introducing 4 subs early in the 2nd half it was still one way traffic with with Colaiste an Atha adding 5 more goals – Jake completed his hat-trick, Craig his 4th, Jack White and a Shane Cahill brace . Goal of the day was the final goal; a stunning volley from Shane into the top corner. Best on the day were Craig and Ross McGovern. Also a special mention for Jayden Hibbert Bown who made his debut for the school team today. Well done lads. Semi-final will be played in January.
