Parents Association

The current committee is:

The first committee meeting of the year takes place in September.

The committee hosts a Social Evening for 1st year parents / guardians before the mid-term break.

The AGM is held before the mid-term break.

Committee members help out at school events such as the Open Night, Social Evenings, Information Evenings, the Christmas Market.

The committee welcome any input you may have.

Indeed, if anyone would like to come along to any of the meetings you are more than welcome.

The committe organises some fundraising events for the school and the students and have over the year provided the school with picnic tables, maths packages, and help with the cost of school trips such as the trip to the Gaeltacht. The committee also donates towards the cost of students travelling to Lourdes on the annual Ferns Diocesan Pilgrimage.

Child Protection Procedures

Children First Act commenced in December 2017. Information is available on www.education.ie the website for the Department of Education and Skills.

The Principal Elizabeth Martin is the Designated Liaison Person under Child Protection Procedures and Mr Diarmuid O’Hanlon is the Deputy Designated Liaison Person.
