The Garda Vetting Process
If a student decides to complete a work placement where they will work with children or vulnerable adults, they will need to be garda vetted. Students cannot be garda vetted until they turn 16.
Students will need to submit copies of a birth cert or a passport for the identity checklist portion of the application.
Please return to completed documents to Ms McGonigle. She will return them to the ETB Garda Vetting Section for processing. You will be invited to apply for vetting online. Parents and guardians will receive an email with a link to apply. Please ensure that you include a working email address on the vetting invitation from.
